SNAKECHARMER is an English band from Richmond (London). It was originally founded in 2011 by Micky Moody - Guitar, Slide Guitar, Vocals, and Bassist Neil Murray (both ex-Whitesnake), along with Laurie Wisefield - Guitar, Vocals (Wishbone Ash), Harry James - Drums, Vocals (Thunder, Magnum), Adam Wakeman - Keyboards, Vocals (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath live) and Chris Ousey - Vocals (Heartland), making certainly one of the U.K.'s most highly-esteemed and experienced rock group. The line-up is a veritable who’s-who of classic hard rock and given the band’s pedigree, it was inevitable that the music would sound like good-time, playing in the Heavy metal, Hard rock, Progressive metal, Neoclassical metal, Power metal and Progressive rock music genres. In 2015, Moody left the band, replaced by young Irish-born virtuoso Simon McBride.

SNAKECHARMER'’s eponymous debut album was released on 25 January 2013 under Italian label Frontiers, and their follow up album ‘Second Skin’ was released on 12 May 2017. After this album, the band's recording activity came to a standstill, due to the numerous commitments of the band members: Adam Wakeman with Ozzy Osbourne, Neil Murray with Rondinelli, and Harry James with Thunder; in addition, in 2022, Simon McBride was chosen as a session player to replace Steve Morse in Deep Purple.
